Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy (the "Policy") describes how Tree Knights Wiring Solutions LLC ("Tree Knights," "we," "us," or "our") ships Products ordered through treeknights.com (the "Site"). By placing an order, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to the terms below. This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions of Use.
1. Order Processing Time

*Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays in the United States.
We begin processing as soon as payment is confirmed. Orders placed after 2:00 PM Mountain Time (UTC‑7/UTC‑6 DST) are treated as received the next business day.
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, destination, and selected service level. We currently offer:

*Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and do not include our processing time. Rural areas or weather events may cause delays.
Free Shipping Threshold
Within the contiguous United States, we offer free Standard Shipping on orders over $250 (before tax). Oversized or hazardous items may be excluded.
3. International Shipping
We currently ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and select EU countries. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees (DDU – Delivered Duty Unpaid). Carrier options include USPS International, UPS Worldwide Expedited®, and DHL Express.
Customs Clearance
Customs processing may extend delivery time beyond our estimates. We cannot mark shipments as "gift" or "sample" or under‑declare value.
4. Shipment Confirmation & Tracking
When your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number. Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also log in to your Site account at any time to view status.
5. Shipping Address Accuracy & Changes
Please verify your shipping address before completing checkout. We are not liable for lost or delayed shipments caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If you notice an error, contact us at support@treeknights.com or (801) 529‑4045 within one hour of order placement. Once an order enters fulfillment, we cannot guarantee changes.
6. Signature Requirement & Delivery Confirmation
Shipments over $400 or containing custom harnesses require an adult signature at delivery. You may waive signature via carrier options at your own risk. Proof of delivery by the carrier constitutes delivery.
7. Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages

Damaged Shipments: Inspect your package upon delivery. Report visible damage to the carrier and notify us at support@treeknights.com within 48 hours with photos.

Lost Packages: A shipment is considered lost if tracking shows no movement for 10+ business days (domestic) or 21+ business days (international). We will file a carrier claim and, if approved, replace or refund the order.

Stolen After Delivery: If tracking shows "Delivered" but you did not receive the package, file a police report and contact the carrier. Tree Knights is not responsible for theft after delivery, but we will assist in filing claims when possible.
Optional Shipping Protection is available at checkout for added coverage.
8. Back‑Orders & Split Shipments
If an item is back‑ordered for more than seven days, we will notify you via email. We may, at our discretion, ship in‑stock items first and the balance later at no extra cost within the U.S.
9. Restricted Items & Hazardous Materials
Certain batteries, chemicals, or high‑capacity capacitors may be subject to HazMat regulations that limit shipping options and destinations. We will notify you if your order is affected.
10. PO Boxes, APO/FPO, and Freight Forwarders

PO Boxes: Only USPS services can deliver to PO Boxes.

APO/FPO/DPO: We ship via USPS Priority Mail Military Service®; transit times vary.

Freight Forwarders: Risk of loss transfers to you once the package is delivered to the forwarder’s U.S. address.
11. Sustainability & Packaging
We prioritize recyclable, minimal packaging and reuse clean packing materials when possible. Harnesses are packed in anti‑static or moisture‑barrier bags to prevent corrosion.
12. Holiday & Peak‑Season Delays
High‑volume periods (e.g., Black Friday through New Year’s, SEMA season) may extend processing by up to 3 business days. Express services may be suspended during carrier embargoes.
